As a result of expansion and strong growth; we require the following experienced and high performing professionals to join our team.AREA SALES MANAGERJOB SCOPE• Reporting directly to the Regional Sales Manager, the job holder has a primary responsibility to manage customer relationships with all outlets in the assigned Area as well as achieve agreed commercial objectives through the execution of the company’s 4P objectives.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES• Achieve sales and 4Ps targets Building long term partnership with the customer Distributor Management
• Distributor Plan creation and implementation
• Execute Promotional strategy per customer
• Implement category strategy per customer
• Develop new product launch plans and ensure successful implementation
• Training and development of Distributor sales resources
JOB REQUIREMENTSTO BE QUALIFIED FOR THIS POSITION, AN APPLICANT MUST POSSESS:
• Minimum of 4 years experience in Sales/ Marketing in an FMCG Company.
• A University degree in a commercial Subject from a recognised University;
• Results oriented, entrepreneurial and self-motivating
• Tenacious and resilient, driven to achieve even when faced with obstacles
• Good grasp of sales and marketing strategies and planning issues
• Strong Leadership and interpersonal skills
• Strong commercial understanding of business issues/opportunities
• Strong analytical skills and implementation skills
